University of Birmingham Medical Society - listen learn and enjoy

Birmingham Medical Leadership Society

The Birmingham Medical Leadership Society was created in 2013 by medical students passionate about promoting leadership and management skills. Since inception, we have grown and have become one of the most active medical leadership societies in the UK. The society aims to create a network of interested individuals, to inspire the next generation of leaders in healthcare.

Our Summer Series has been a massive hit, and we have held a range of talks from how to get involved in research, to the impact of COVID-19. You can catch up on these talks on our social media. We have more events lined up for the year ahead and cannot wait to share them with you! One of those being our annual conference, the Future of Medicine and Surgery, which has continued to grow each year. We are excited to share our speakers and workshops for 2021 soon!

We aim to provide students with the knowledge and skills to innovate patient care and improve healthcare delivery. The BMLS has also collaborated with other societies to educate students in providing effective clinical leadership and identifying frustrations in the delivery of patient care.

To keep up to date and ensure we can continue to run these events, sign up to be a member of BMLS!

Follow us on Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn and also like our Facebook page to keep up-to-date with upcoming events!
