UBMS FC

UBMSFC - Birmingham's finest of sporting societies welcomes you. If you're looking for silky football at university, you've come to the right place. If you're searching for top banter, then look no further.

We are a social, multi-cultural and competitive club with players of all levels of abilities. With three 11 a side teams, an extremely prestigious Medsoc seven a side league and weekly training sessions, there is more than enough football for everyone. The First and Second XI are entered into the local Amateur Football Association leagues, pitting themselves against the best (and worst) that Birmingham has to offer. The First XI have enjoyed a number of well decorated years after originally starting in division 8 and four seasons later gaining promotion to division 1 and were unlucky runners up in the ‘famous’ Jeff’s Cup!

In addition, the club compete in the national medical schools (NAMS) football tournament which is always an excellent weekend away!

Sometimes however, the football must take a back seat for our social ambitions! In an average year we have the Trails Day social, Fresher’s "welcome drinks", the Old Boys game and social, matches against other Medical schools, the Chairman’s curry, NAMS weekend away and ‘Tour’ just to name a few! Tour has been located in the exotic cities of Manchester, Cardiff and Leeds in recent years and there are rumours of an International expedition this year – an event you'd be foolish to miss!

Follow us on twitter (@UBMSFC) to keep up to date with performances and vital information.
